Know your Province Terms & Conditions: 1. WHEN DOES THE COMPETITION START AND END? The competition starts at 17h00 on 27 May 2013 and ends at 00h00 on 2 June 2013. This is the competition period. The competition will be held over 1 week. At the end of the competition I love Free State will award the prize to the entrant with the most correct answers as the winner. If there is more than one correct entrant a draw will take place where a Free State Tourism Authority official will carry out a live draw. This we will post at 16h00 on 5 June 2013 to announce the winner. 2. HOW THIS COMPETITION WORKS AND WHO MAY ENTER THE COMPETITION? Follow the link on our Facebook Page or go to our ilovefreestate.co.za website. Click on the “Know your Province Competition” and log in with your Facebook details or register on our website. Complete the questionnaire and then click Finish. This will automatically submit your entry. NB - The winner must be willing to provide us a short summary of their experience at this establishment which we will then post on our digital platforms. All persons, including South African Citizens and Foreign Nationals may enter the competition. However, to enter you must be at least 18 years old. 3. WHO MAY NOT ENTER THE COMPETITION The following persons may not take part in this competition even if they qualify to enter. They will forfeit any prizes awarded to them: • Free State Tourism Authority employees i.e. director(s), member(s), partner(s), employee(s), agencies(s), or consultant(s) relating to this competition. • Any supplier of goods and services in connection with this competition. 4. PRIZES The prize up for grabs is a weekend away for two at Lions Rock in the Eastern Free State. The prize cannot be transferred. - The validity dates of the prize, - Out of season - Subject to the availability at the Lodge 5. HOW WE WILL DELIVER YOUR PRIZE TO YOU OR HOW YOU CAN COLLECT OR CLAIM YOUR PRIZE The winner will be awarded their prize by email or in person at our Offices in Mimosa Mall, Bloemfontein. The final decision about the award process will be decided by FSTA Management. 6. HOW WILL WINNERS BE NOTIFIED Winners will be notified by telephone on the 5th June 2013 and a confirmation letter will be sent to the winners by email. The winners name will be posted on the I Love Free State website and Facebook page. 7. WHAT HAPPENS IF FREE STATE TOURISM AUTHORITY CANNOT CONTACT THE WINNER OR IF THE WINNER IS NOT ABLE TO TAKE UP THE PRIZE If Free State Tourism Authority is unable to contact the prize winner within 7 (seven) days after the prize announcement date, Free State Tourism Authoritywill redraw the competition. 8. GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION Participations that do any of the following or attempt to do any of the following, whether alone or through anyone else will immediately be disqualified from winning the prize: • Hacking into Facebook to manipulate the page • Doing anything so as to manipulate the outcome of the competition 9. GENERAL • Free State Tourism Authority reserves the right to end this competition at any time. If this happens, Free State Tourism Authority will publish a notice on Facebook and you agree to waiver (give up) any rights that you may have about this competition and acknowledge that you will have no rights or claims against Holiday in South Africa. • The participant will not hold Free State Tourism Authority liable for any technical errors originating from Free State Tourism Authority, hosting website (Facebook), network suppliers and other service providers. • The clauses in these rules are severable. This means that if any clause in these rules is found to be unlawful, it will be removed and the remaining clauses will still apply. • Wherever time has been referred to in these rules, it refers GMT +2 • These rules and the competition are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. • The judge’s decision will remain final. Free State Tourism Authority will enter into no further correspondence.
