Kolee (holy) Cow! Ryder is TWO! I cannot believe it has been two whole years since I have felt him moving and kicking inside my massive belly! Although he has been - and always will be - a blessing, he is definitely a breed all his own and never ceases to amaze me as to the amount of trouble he can get into (or the thought and creativity he must go through to decide just what kind of trouble it will be! LOL) I blame Josh. (I am only half joking:) Regardless, we love him more than words can say or he could ever imagine. We say to him, I love you more!, and he says back, I love you more, too! I guess you cant really argue with that. I had a difficult delivery and was listening to music to help soothe me...so he was actually born to the Incubus song Wish You Were Here - how fitting! Thank you, Brandon Boyd for easing my pain and allowing my son to enter the world on such a great note:) Happy Birthday, Ryder Phoenix! We love you so so much and are so glad You ARE Here! (I tried to tag everyone that was in the video or came to see him at the hospital...if I missed you, I apologize) Lois Hickman lol I would also like to say RIP to our amazing nurse Teresa Ussery Willis . We will never forget all your kindness and genuine care during and after the delivery...you were truly one of a kind :)
