Kristen Nelson shared~ My personal pain testimony in a long nut shell: Car accident March 2012, herniated disk at C6-7 (base of neck). Developed chronic pain and migraines. After 13 months of Vicodin, expensive muscle relaxers, expensive pain patches, 2 pain injections, 2 steroid injections, a Radio Frequency Ablation that was supposed to burn/kill the nerve endings in my neck around the injury, several prescription meds to mask the pain, not heal the injury, resulting in over 15 pounds of weight gain, decreased function in right hand/arm, migraines 3-5 days a week, a staph infection on my shoulders/back from physical therapy, unable to play with my toddler, I even had to take a medical leave of action from nursing school. I had given up, the doctors told me I wasnt injured enough for surgery and my prognosis was going to be pain meds for life. At my worst, I was up to 3-4 Vicodin a day, was spending over $700 total a month on Skelaxin, Lyrica, and Lidocane patches. End of October 2012 Plexus released their Fast Relief Combo. Within 2-3 weeks on the capsules, I was able to hold my daughter without cringing, I could laugh without pain, and I could move more freely. The cream would stop my migraines from advancing within 3 minutes and take the edge off my neck pain while waiting for the capsules to kick in. Best part is I wasnt having the side effects from narcotics, I could think clearly! After about a month I had decreased my total prescription consumption to 1-2 pills a day, usually just at bedtime to fall asleep. I was regaining feeling in my arm and hand, I was gaining my witty personality back, and I was not a slave to my ice and recliner. I can proudly say that as of May 1st, 2013, I was completely off all prescription meds for my neck and back pain! PS, Im back in nursing school! Of course everyones results are different, these are not guaranteed results. The loading dose on both the FR Capsules and NHS Capsules is 2 caps 3 x a day, and if you have breakthrough pain, you can take more. If your symptoms are really severe, then maybe even start with 3 caps 3-4 times a day. This is recommended for at least 2 months. I slowly started decreasing down to 2 caps 2x day over the summer. Now, almost 8 months later, I take 2-3 caps once daily to keep my inflammation down. If I clean too vigorously, then Ill take an extra 2 caps mid day.
