Kristi Rose Mann Our (Merle and Tami) lives changed during the summer of 1997. We took on a new challenge of adopting a young girl. Most of you know Kristi and what a nice young lady she has become. Our daughter will turn 21 this year. Kristi has done a lot throughout her young life and is very content with the simple aspect of life. She enjoys a day at the pool, camping during the Iowa State Fair, walking the trail, showing her llama, eating out at a restaurant, her brothers, greeting people, her Aunt Nae and Tim, Papa and Nana and spending the day with us on Sunday. Kristi has been a blessing to us in so many ways. She can communicate and be very entertaining to all with her limited amount of words. The one concept that Kristi has taught and continues to teach us about life is the scripture. Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you.” As we celebrate her birthday this October, we plan to enjoy our time together with her and make it a special day for her to remember. This is where Tami and I need your help celebrating Kristi’s birthday. We are planning a card shower to honor this mile stone of her life. Kristi doesn’t get a lot mail at here residences.
