Kristina Schultz was diagnosed with leukemia on her 4th birthday. Her mother, Lori, thought it was chicken pox but after visiting her pediatrician she was sent directly to the pediatric intensive care unit. All of her organs were inflamed and her blood was thick with white blood cells. After treatment Kristina was in remission for 2 and a half years. She relapsed in April 2005 during 2nd grade. She had a bone marrow transplant and spent 5 months in the hospital. Towards the end of 2006 her condition worsened and she had a stem cell transplant in February, 2007. On April 9, 2007 at the age of 9 Kristina lost her battle with leukemia. Become a champion for Kristina. Call 877-719-5437 or donate online: bit.ly/radiothon14
