Kuching to have S-shaped bridge linking waterfront with new state assembly building. Its purpose to close gap of both side of town... Among questions I have in mind : 1. is this going to be open for motorbike? Pretty sure those from petra jaya would use motorbike. 2. Rm35million for pedestrian crossing? A bit wee expensive to me. 3. Was the design best of submitted by various architecture firms in competition? A landmark should be treated as one. Without competition the designer knowing they have the contract wouldnt design best design.
