Kuseniseni a man aged 39 married to a lady aged 34, it took me a while to get married due to various reasons including taking care of my siblings who were then so young and still in school, apart from that I was supporting my elder brother’s 4 children because at the time my brother was out of employment. My parents taught us on the need to look after family as well as maintain the family bond in life no matter what, my father has since passed away. I got married in 2006 to a lady from my church, but than 3 years down the line after our first child was born I began to see some changes in my wife’s behavior she became very disrespectful to the point that she could insult my own mother who was staying with us as well as my late father. She would tell my mother to go back to the village saying my family is condemned . We have tried to sit down with families from both sides on many occasions to discuss our issues and where I was wrong I have accepted and apologized. I have tried to counsel my wife in many areas of our lives because I love and still care about her but not anymore. In my life I have always wanted to have just one wife but it seems everything I have tried to do is all in vain. She does not like it when I buy things for my own mother but becomes very happy when I get things for her parents, my relatives are not welcome in my house but hers come and go as the please and can stay for as long as the like I have never had a problem with that. But now she has gotten to the extent of calling me rubbish and backwards , we have 3 children and she uses the children as her shield because she knows that I love my children so much and would never chase her for their sake. It is a very long story but I am tired now and want to move on because I may do something I may regret please I need your advice.
