L ois O n the L oose .......LOL I had the morning off so goofed around Petsmart looking for a potential Mu sweater for winter. Near there is a fun Steinmart store where I get lots of beady tops, junk jewelry and the like. They have cute shoes that I can wear, too, on my arthritic right foot. I mozied around and came across a great sale on comforter sets. The are done up as you likely know, in huge zippered plastic bags, complete with handles. I found a nice one with a pattern with several blue tones. (my bedroom colors) Since I have a King size bed, it was in no way easy to maneuver, but not impossible. I purchased it and a few other things an then started my trek. I had to slide it on the slick floor to get to the cash register, but outside, a cement sidewalk and that icky parking lot pavement was another thing! I could get it about an inch off the ground but had to stop every couple of feet as it was so heavy.(I weigh only 98 lbs)...so young kids are walking by and a few younger people but busy doing their thing and I almost asked one of them for help, but didnt. I was about to take it back in the store and go get my car to come to get it, when here comes a cute little OLD knight in shining armor! He was pushing a rolling walker and said like lady, lets just get that big ole thing up into my seat. (The ones with wheels have seats and baskets) We pushed it to my car and managed to get it in my trunk. I thanked and thanked him and he said maybe next time I could help him. Remember the littler ole fellow on TV that used to advertise Oatmeal or some such thing? Willard or Wilbur ? Looked exactly like him. He wheeled off into the afternoon sun to finish what he started to do, and I sat in my car and sobbed!
