LABORATORY TECHNICIAN We are a private veterinary laboratory with branches in Kingston and Portmore. We provide a comprehensive laboratory service to veterinary clinics and veterinary practitioners both locally and nationally. We also do analytical and microbiological testing of water, meat products, and environmentals for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) compliance. Ideally, we would like to recruit a Laboratory Technician/Technologist with experience in medical laboratory technology and microbiological (HACCP) testing. You will contribute in the following areas: -. Microbial culture and sensitivity testing -. Analytical and microbiological testing of water, meat products, and environmental samples -. CBCs, blood chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, electrolyte and blood gas analyses, bile acids, T4 and cortisol testing -. ELISA tests for disease screening of poultry and other farm and companion animals -. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment -.
