LADIES PRAISE CONFERENCE - May 3rd - Lakewood Baptist Church, Sumter, SC: My talk must have gone pretty good. After the talk, one of the ladies asked me if I spoke at different events and was going to see if I could speak at her group. Off the top of my head I said, “Are you kidding!” Handed out quite a few business cards, as requested. Had lots of wonderful compliments, so I hope God was proud and I brought glory to His name today, for Sparkle Caps is His project and I am just the conduit. We sold some caps and angels; had two gift bags donated in Memory of one’s mother and another gift bag sponsored for a particular person; and received cash donations and a cash gift from the church’s Ladies Care Group. An associate pastor made a letter opener for me—a turquoise handle with a cross on it. Take a look at the pictures to see all the supplies collected over the last few weeks for Sparkle Caps. The huge bag was so heavy, Gary had trouble carrying it. I cannot thank Tonya Morris enough for asking me to speak today—she has been a sponsor of several gift bags already. It was a wonderful experience, a fantastic lunch, and wonderful praises for God!
