LAST MINUTE CANDLE VACANCY: One of our participants is unable to attend the Container Candle Class tomorrow (Saturday 11th October at 10.00am). If you are interested in the spot, please contact me on 0417 895 763. Our Container Candle Class is for those who love soy wax! This workshop teaches you the correct techniques to make small to medium, single or double wick, and plain or layered container candles. You will measure, prepare, melt, mix and pour your own candle products. The workshop covers the characteristics of different soy waxes; we will share formulas and specialist techniques, and deal with common problems experienced using soy wax. Problems such as blooming, wet spots, craters, cracking, dipping, and oozing fragrance are covered. Your class fee of $135.00 + GST covers: Use of all equipment and candle making supplies. Candles made on the day for you to take home. Two (2) weeks of phone/email After Class Support & Advice to manage the challenges of the first few weeks at home. An invitation to join our Let’s Talk Candles FB networking group to build your knowledge base and talk to fellow candle makers. Comprehensive technical notes with step by step instructions. Wick charts/diagrams applicable to the course. Problem Solving Sheet. Terms & Conditions: Clients will NOT be confirmed into a workshop until full payment has been received. It is our policy not to refund a workshop fee if the client cancels within 48 hours of class day. Clients acknowledge this as reasonable given the difficulty in back filling a place at such short notice. If we are unable to meet our workshop minimum of 3 clients, we reserve the right to cancel and reschedule the class. In this situation clients will be offered a transfer to an alternative date/s or a full refund. Our workshops are strictly for clients only (so please do not bring along children or friends as company). Participants must 18 years or older to attend a Group Workshop.
