Vexed by Quintons refusal to abandon his child, desperate Thembeka tries to get Layla back on her team so they can gang up against Jessica but Layla is not interested. Layla suggests Quinton ask Jessica for an amniocentesis DNA test. He retracts his request when infuriated Jessica makes him aware of the risks to the baby. She uses emotional manipulation to get Quinton to put her up at the Newtonian until he finds her an apartment.
