LATEST ELECTION REFORM - RECAP Historic Reform a Near Reality - (Please Share) Citizens for Detroit’s Future proclaimed last Thursday’s Election Reform-Part II meeting a wonderful success as over 150 Detroiters have now volunteered to be at the polls on election day. Attendees each pledged to get 100 signatures by standing at their own neighborhood poll on the November 4th election day. Energetic and committed, attendees were all ears as CFDF laid out seven compelling reasons why non-partisan Detroit “Election Reform” was needed, explaining that the city has not seen any reform since its 1914 roll out of “Pull Lever” voting. As promised, the “Redeem Center” gathering ended at 8pm sharp with electric closing remarks from activist and Pastor, the Reverend David Bullock. Attendees left the precisely two hour gathering pledging to bring another volunteer with them at the groups next semi-final meeting which the CFDF president announced will be on Thursday, October 23rd at 6pm sharp. This one will be held on the city’s westside at the First Baptist World Changers International Ministries Church located at 22575 West 8 Mile Road. We need slightly over 100 more volunteers so get involved, help your city and take control! Volunteer by calling CFDF directly at 888-821-9244 or you can email your name, address, city zip and cellphone/home number to: Confidential@aNewVisionForDetroit. See you on the 23rd .
