LATEST NEWS!! Well, the second gathering for the Rail-fan Drive-In Theater! has come and gone. Unfortunately we only had an audience of 3 patrons! However, I met FIRST time patron Robert Boucher tonight. Afterward he told me personally that he fully enjoyed himself and that he will keep watching the site for information on when the next gathering will be, and that he plans to make a return visit! I hope I get a movie revue from him as I suggested he post one! He implied that he would submit one so Robert - Im counting on you to write a just for fun revue! The Feature Presentation this evening was: Above 3751 Over Cajon Pass! - a Pentrex studio production from 1999. The video was a mix of on the ground - aboard the tool car and rear business car porch - and AWESOME aerial footage while train chasing/pacing/flying over the Ex-Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe steam locomotive No. 3751. I will throw this in for member Jim White - you missed out as the movie had a cameo appearance by the California Forestry Division of Fire, AND a cameo by the Victorville, California Fire Dept. I would write a revue - but since I own this feature that would be a biased revue. (What the heck - heres my revue anyway...I LOVE this one! Theres my revue!) So Robert, have fun with sharing your thoughts about your FIRST experience at the Rail-fan Drive-In Theater! and your revue of the movie and I hope to see you at the next movie night!
