LCSO Investigating Morning Assault on W&OD Trail, Seeks Witnesses and Public’s Assistance for Additional Information Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault on a female during the early morning hours of Monday, August 4, 2014 on the W&OD Trail near Oak Grove Road, Sterling. Around 7:10AM, a jogger was knocked to the ground from behind and assaulted. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’6, with short black hair, muscular build, and weighing around 200lbs. The suspect was wearing dark colored clothing and fled the scene by foot on the trail towards Fairfax, heading East. If you have information regarding the possible identity of this suspect or may have witnessed this assault, please contact Detective J.S.
