*LEGENDARY HIW MONSTER, NIGHTMARE, RETURNS AT #HIWProdigy!!* During the late 90s and early 2000s, the High Impact Wrestling roster was terrorized by beastly monster who wildly destroyed venues and wrestlers alike. His face hidden by a black mask and his nature completely unpredictable. Nightmare was easily the most feared man in HIW history until he vanished without a trace. Many thought he had just wandered back into the abyss from which he came, but the soulless one has returned! Nightmare made his first appearance in an HIW venue in 8 years when he stepped through the curtain on MArch 29th at HIW Wildsides PRODIGY. His intentions were unknown to the crowd, but Mortimer Graves and his brother Merle, who stood in the ring and asked for Nightmares presence seemed to think they knew what Nightmare was all about. When Nightmare stepped into the ring, Morty offered the monster an opportunity to join the Graves Family of freaks to which he received no response. After Nightmare stood silent for a period of time, Mortimer began to insult the hulking beast but still got no response. Finally, Mortimer stuck out his hand snidely as if to shake the monsters hand but by this time it appeared as though Nightmare had enough as he grabbed Mortimer by the throat! Merle was quick to try and help his brother and the two fled the ring. It was at this time that ring announcer Cathie Cougar announced that Mortimer had already signed Merle up for a match with Nightmare, to which Merle looked at Mortimer as if to plead with him not to have to do it, but it was too late. Nightmare DESTROYED Merle Graves in a matter of minutes, leaving him laying in a pile in the middle of the ring! The Nightmare has arrived, and he is very real! Those who fancy having a long career in the pro-wrestling business should stay out of his as it looks like Nightmare is on a war path!
