LEOPARDS PART 4 - SERENDIPITY One must be lucky to see a leopard in the wild, and especially a leopard that is clearly visible for more than just a moment. Finding the leopard can be difficult, assuming that you are looking for it.. One day, Annemarie and I were kind of scanning the river bed near Skukuza camp, Kruger National Park. We had seen African Wild dogs and we wondered if we would be able to come a bit closer to this pack of dogs. I was driving, but even if we drove slowly, it felt that i could not investigate the area good enough, so I decided to stop for a moment. The moment I stopped, i saw something moving next to me. The leopard looked a bit disturbed and it made a soft noise. Then, it corssed the road just in front of us and other cars. Then it returned, corssed the road again and disappeared in the bush..
