LETTER: DEAR EDITOR POST THIS FOR ME. CIVIL SERVANT TAKES PART IN ACTIVE POLITICS Isaac Zulu ,commonly known as Isaac matandika of matandika village in chief chitungulus area, has gone flat out distributing campaign materials and campaigning for the opposition leader HAKAINDE HICHILEMA (HH). Mr Zulu is a primary school teacher teaching at Masiye primary school in chipata district eastern province. The said man is currently on a vacation leave tirelessly campaigning and conducting door to door meetings in chitungulu and mwanya with a view that in 2016 he will stand as a MP in Lumezi constituency under UPND ticket which had previously been contested by Majory Mupasha. The Area Councillor Mr. Banda of Zungwala village was questioned by one of our Lundazi gossip reporters regarding the same matter ,the honorable said; Mr Zulu had been advised and warned on several occasions not to take part in active politics as a civil servant, but the man seems to have sat on his ears and it is believed that the UPND Part has promised him heavenly treasures that he is ready to risk his employment. People in chitungulu area are disappointed in the man,especially those that know his background. He was languishing in the streets and almost becoming a potential poacher with his results failing to proceed to college,not until the well wishers (LVP- Luangwa Valley Project) came on board and gave him a 100% scholarship which saw him through to Kitwe college of Education where he was trained as a teacher. it seems he has forgotten all these past hardships with his few scattered worn out hammer meals which are bringing few coins in his pockets , Mr Zulu says he is ready for anything.
