LETTER TO THE CHIBOK GIRLS, THE VICTIMS OF CIRCUMSTANCE By Olaniyan Kehinde Hero peace be on to you,the chibok girls, the victims of circumstance. Permit me to start this letter with a Yoruba adage, that goes thus; it is better to lose one child to death than to declare missing indefinitely. When one child is missing it will give the parents longtime hope which will cause them psycho-disorder throughout their entire life. This is exactly what your parents are going through. Forgive me for the way and manner, I write this letter to you, maybe because I have been suffering from a disease called insomnia for months now. My dear chibok girls, it is quite unfortunate that you may not read this letter addressed for you. But the concerned Nigerians will read it on your behave. This is the best time to write you, this is the last month of the year 2014,the same year you were kidnapped. Around this December time, you would have been preparing to Celebrate Christmas and new year with your ones. Around this same time, you would have been receiving gift from you friends and family, who cares so much about you more than your so-called government. Last year some of you were having you shopping for the festival but its a pity you wont do it this time around. It is a known fact that you were kidnapped on the 15th of April,2014. All of your dreams about greatness in life, that you will be a leader one day, in order to help your country from ending up in recklessness. Your promised for your parents to take care of them when you grow have been jeopardized by the sect called Boko Haram. You have many things that you have planned for, going to high institutions to acquire a better grade in your different fields, some of you want to safe the life of them masses by studying medicine. It is unimaginable that you will be captured by people that have no future for you. In case you dont know, some of your parents has loss hope in this country, some of them dont believe in your return again. They have sacrificed you for the curse of this nation. Some of them have died of ailment that kill faster than HIV. Dear chibok girls, your government dont even think of you again, just yesternite they donated #21billions to campaign for you president to return to power. They are not concern about you again, just somedays ago about 180 women and girls were cast away by your kidnappers. Dear sisters, a negotiator came from Australia to negotiate on your behave, he said that Ali Modu Sheriff and former Army Marshal Azubuike Ihejirika were sponsoring your kidnappers funny the two prominent men are very close to your president and nothing was done to them. They are moving freely as if nothing happened. It is in my own view, that because you are children from ordinary citizens that does not hold any political office or relevant in the society that is why your government did not negotiate for you. If you were their children or family, they would have negotiated for you. I know, what you must have been passing through. It is a pity that a country you pledged allegiance with couldnt get you out. I will keep on pray for you because there is limit to what i can do. PEACE BE ON TO YOU, MY SISTERS. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH yours sincerely Olaniyan Kehinde Hero signed olaniyanhero@gmail +2347031198730
