LETTER TO THE THREE MOSQUITOES (Mr Sushi, Floyd Mayebheda and Mr Mangamanga) Dear three Mosquitoes Before you even start accusing me of writing a very bad letter with grammatical errors I must confess that it is the first time I write a letter in my entire life, hey I’ve never written one before simply because the African National Congress afforded me an opportunity to communicate faster through emails and other instant communication methods. Well that’s not the reason why I write this letter; I am writing this letter to alert you of the challenge ahead of you and perhaps just to remind you that the clarion call for economic freedom in our lifetime belongs to nobody else but us the members of the ANCYL of the African National Congress. Now to hijack the resolutions of the ANCYL is just a continuation of thuggery acts that you have been continuously engaged in since we elected you at the Mangaung 2008 watershed conference, now to think you will be able to take us away from the ANC is like to dream walking on top of the sea and waking up to reality. Just to let you know when we join the ANCYL we join it because we want to attain the national democratic revolution not the “personal wealth accumulation revolution” that you have been pursuing up to now. We welcome your organization to the political domain, we will treat you the same way you treated madam Godzilla, the ever angry Lekota while you were still with us, if needs be we will hurl insults to you, we are even prepared to take up arms and defend this revolution which was started more than 101 years ago, as young people we find inspiration in cde Nelson Mandela, cde Oliver Tambo, cde AP Mda, cde Anton Lembede and other comrades who led the ANCYL before you. As a young person from a rural village I have faith in the ANC that it will continue to deliver the basic services to our community as it has done in the past, in my ward the ANC is building more than 1000 houses for the poor, constructing infrastructure for the permanent supply of water (currently the ANC delivers water through water trucks), bringing dignity to the rural people by building toilets, trained young people on different skills like painting and bricklaying. The ANC has afforded all school going children an opportunity to study for free and serve them with food during lunch breaks so that they don’t lose concentration in the classroom. These are just some of the ANC achievements that you are well aware of and probably you will deny them for the sake of opposing anything good said about the ANC, well that’s what the opposition exist for, I applaud you in advance for opposing this. This ANC is the very same ANC which created people like you Mr Sushi, maybe Mr Sushi you need a political lecture on why the ANC created the Broad Based Economic (BEE) empowerment policy which you are product of, obviously you will deny this because of the lack of understanding thereof, I challenge you to invite me to the ZAR club to assist you understand how you acquired your fortune. Just in case you decide to invite me, please make sure that there is enough juice and water and no sushi please as my stomach is not used to it. Stealing the ANCYL policies won’t make you relevant to us as young people but will only confirm that you are just power mongers who do not want to be led because they are “political Gods”, well just so you guys know the task ahead of you, I will work very hard in my ward to ensure that you don’t even get a single vote as people in my community, young people in particular have faith in our African National Congress. On the election day in 2014 I will wake up in the early morning, take up a loudhailer and constantly mobilize people, young people in particular to wake up and go to the polls to vote the ANC. I will be doing this as part of the ANCYL’s twin tasks which is to mobilize the young people behind the ANC and to champion their interests, and I am confident in my ward we will achieve 75% which will lead to the province achieving the same and national as well. Should it happen that I go to eNanda, I will pass by Ohlange and ask the founding President General of the ANC cde JL Dube that your organization doesn’t get even a single sit in parliament, because you stand to mislead young people to attain the “personal wealth accumulation revolution” Yours in defense of the real revolution Sibongiseni Sifiso Ntanzi ANCYL Thembalabantu branch Greater KwaDukuza Region (Writing in my own capacity)
