Clerical Abuse, 2. Vocational shifts, 3. Globalization of the Economy, coupled with, 4. Internet. In about 1986, the Trans-Pacific trade (Asia with USA) equaled the Trans-Atlantic trade of the United States with Europe. HHJP2 Declared that the 3rd Millennium was to be focused upon Asia in terms of Evangelization. The Economy of the United States of America is larger than the next 4 or 5 biggest economies put together. This set of circumstances has given birth to the Republic of Walmart. This set of circumstances has converged at a time when the Church has given birth to new concepts. 1. The personal prelature, 2. Recognition of a Universal Call to Holiness, 3. Recognition of the Equality of Dignity among, Clergy, Laity and all the baptized Christians, 4. A Rule of Law embedded within the Church with a Popes Court, Rights and Obligations granted Clergy and Baptized, What does this all mean for a Carmel focused upon perfecting a world in need, caring for VOCATIONAL LIFE, Birthing Saints?
