LIFE IN THE SPIRIT For the Spirit that God has given you does not make you slaves and cause you to be afraid; instead, the Spirit makes you Gods children, and by the Spirits power we cry out to God, “Father! my Father!” Gods Spirit joins himself to our spirits to declare that we are Gods children. Since we are his children, we will possess the blessings he keeps for his people, and we will also possess with Christ what God has kept for him; for if we share Christs suffering, we will also share his glory. - Romans 8:15-17 *Our Father has given us a fearless spirit guided by the Holy Spirit. And the only way to understand the power of the Spirit is to live according to the Spirit. When you live in the Spirit you think in the Spirit and when you think in the Spirit you do what is of the Spirit. Human nature keeps us from understanding and acknowledging the power that is with in us because when you live according to the flesh, you think according to the flesh and your actions are governed to fulfill that of the flesh which is weak and short lived. You live in fear of what can be taken away instead of living in faith of what you possess and what you will gain. Which is the life that you are living? Heavenly Father, thank you for life in the Spirit. Thank you that our minds are renewed to live in a way that is pleasing to you. Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit that leads us as your children. Thank you for your promises and blessings that you have prepared for us as we eternally praise you and trust in you.
