LIFE ON OUR NUT FARM – KENNY APPOINTMENTS I picked up my father Kenny early afternoon, for a series of doctor’s appointments and tests, in Coupeville. At ninety-three years old, his medical and dental appointments seem to occur on a bi-weekly basis. Waiting for doctors, additional tests, and directions, we were finally on our way. Kenny and I both hungry, I always bring snacks, enjoyed bananas and granola bars. Happily, my brother Paul has been here the past week and helped. Of course, Michael had picked Dahlias for us to place on my mother Josephine’s gravesite. It was a beautiful afternoon. Kenny and I proceeded to Oak Harbor to pick up items for our little Upstairs Bathroom Remodel, once our “Children’s” now preparing for our “Granddaughters.” I will tell you that story soon! Dinnertime, we went to our favorite restaurant, Wendy’s, and had our regulars! Driving south on the highway, we counted the, “For Sale” signs. Kenny and I do this each trip, one way or the other. Back to his assisted living facility, we parked. I carried in his, Coke, the groceries I had already purchased, and new medical orders. Kissed him goodnight and headed home to Our Pets! They were thrilled as always! Yes, I started with an easy; “ON THE ROAD with M’Liss – WHERE is this STARBUCKS?” You are all correct! Michael took this picture in Paris last year, https://facebook/MLISS.Sewing.Quilting.Crafting.Designs/photos/a.125195957525827.13777.125162820862474/807386575973425/?type=1&theater Next one will be a little more challenging! PS: Tomorrow night, LAW & ORDER – NO WAY to TREAT A LADY – PART VI! Many Blessings from Our Nut Farm. August 7, 2014
