LIFES EMBARRASSING MOMENTS: My dad used to say Its better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt. Maybe one day Ill learn that. Not today. This morning I took a test for my SC GC License. After the test it was lunch time but I was in a hurry so I decided to get something in a drive through and keep going. I stopped at Bojangles, ordered a chicken sandwich and pulled to the window. I handed the girl my empty Bojangles coffee cup from this morning and asked her if shed throw it away for me. She said sure. At this point a simple thank you wouldve been sufficient but I have to be funny so I said, Its a Bojangles kind of day. She responded with, Nothing wrong with that. Again a perfect time to SHUT UP. But noooooo not me. What I wanted to say was something to communicate that eating Bojangles twice a day consistently would make it difficult for me to fit into my clothes. What I actually said was, Not if you want to get into your pants. WHAT!!?? She laughed nervously, closed the window and walked away. Somebody else came over and gave me my food. Oh well, another place I can never go to again.
