LIONEL GOT ME TO CUT A GIANT HIBISCUS TREE DOWN. There was this - TopicsExpress

LIONEL GOT ME TO CUT A GIANT HIBISCUS TREE DOWN. There was this giant hibiscus tree that was in flower growing in the yard and blocking the way, couple of meters past it, there was this high palm tree that was in the way also. Lionel told me to cut the hibiscus tree down first but he called it Ponciana. I told him that any trees to be removed must be offered to the Brisbane City Council Parks section by law now. I was doing the house maintenance for nothing while Lionel reaped the benefits of it and paid me nothing. I called the Council and it took twenty four hours before they came to survey it. They said it is a hibiscus not a ponciana, they didn’t want either of the two trees and gave me clearance to cut them down because they are too close to the house and shouldn’t be there, especially the hibiscus tree because it grows wild. I told Lionel the results and he said go ahead and do it, but what you going to do with it when it’s cut down, how will you remove it. The Rubbish collections are still on don’t forget I said, I’ll put it out on the sidewalk. Will they take it? He asked. They will but I’ll have to cut it into sections because it would be too heavy as it is. Go ahead he said, you can start whenever you like. It’s too late today but I’ll start on it first thing in the morning after I come back from my breakfast in the park. That agreed on, it was up to me to hack it up and get rid of it because the house was full of white ants.
