LIPF Distinction Workshop Saturday, 01 November 2014 The SACC is delighted to announce the holding of a LIPF Distinction workshop on Saturday, 01 November in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Co. Tipperary (close to Thurles) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This workshop is aimed at those working towards a Licentiateship distinction from the Irish Photographic Federation. Special guest on the day will be Mark Sedgwick, chairman of the IPF Distinction Service, who will speak about the requirements and guidelines for LIPF and describe the most common reasons for a panel being unsuccessful. Participants are encouraged to bring along their best thirty to forty 15 x 10 cm (6” x 4”) prints for potential consideration on a panel. The workshop will include a feedback session where participants will be assigned to an experienced photographer who will provide feedback on your proposed panel/prints. The workshop is open to all photographers (i.e. not restricted to SACC Clubs) and costs €15 per person. There are plenty of places available for the workshop itself, but there are a limited number of places available for those who want to avail of feedback – so early registration via the website is essential.
