LITTLE HOGGIE REAPPEARED AT LUNCH TIME TODAY !! Well the little Hoggie from yesterday showed up at lunch time today, and was laying in the finders next door garden.. It was very lifeless when i arrived and cold, also had some spines missing on its back but i got it back asap on heatpads to try and warm it up.. On further inspection the spines were missing and under the ones left was a large open wound crawling with baby maggots, this is why the finder had seen the flies keep landing on Hoggie yesterday.. I have cleaned out the wound and applied medication to kill any further maggots, cleaned out her mouth and rinsed with water.. Antibiotic injection given for any infection and she is resting in the ICU, but i dont honestly think her chances are very good.. Thank you to to the finder for calling me as soon as she saw it again and Abbey for trying to find bugs for her to eat.. I am doing everything i can for her Abbey ..
