LMAO! a shabbat dinner to spice things up! euh.... Hi there, I am so fortunate as to share a huge Victorian palace in the heart of the plateau. (Perhaps the most beautiful apartment in Montreal, one might venture to say.) 9 rooms (5 of which are nice sized bedrooms), 2 bathrooms, a big solarium, 2 floors, a balcony, and the list goes on. The apartment is in the Laurier village and there are beautiful parks, bakeries, grocery stores, organic shops and chocolate shops within a minutes walk. There are bus and metro stations nearby (Laurier), free street parking and the house has washer and dryer in the home. Every time I arrive home, even after some years, I am nurtured by the rich beauty, warmth and character of the space itself and I consider it a privilege to live here. The available room gets sun all day and is a beautiful space which comes with a double bed, a closet with a heavy wood door and a desk and chair. It is available Sept 1. The roommates are warm, lovely people- a Polish law researcher, a humanitarian law student at McGill, a Venezuelan medical researcher and myself, working in the healing arts. While we enjoy each others company, we mostly keep the home as a place to enjoy sweet silence or to share meals. Sometimes we have a jam session or a shabbat dinner to spice things up a little. Those who naturally like to keep a neat and very clean house are especially welcome. Ideally going for roommates who either dont eat meat, or who dont mind keeping meat out of the house. The rent is 650$ with bills except Internet (14$/month). Unfortunately, pets and smoking inside are a no go. There is indeed a sublet agreement to sign, and a deposit required.
