LNPBs prayer: Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray dear Lord their precious souls youll keep. Do not let them die before I awake, keep them safe and warm, do not let their spirits break. Place your loving hands upon their head, let them know tonight they have nothing to dread. My heart just breaks knowing they are frightened and alone, on a cold shelter floor they are now forced to call home. I know tonight their hearts are so full of sorrow, all I ask is for them to have a chance for the promise of a new tomorrow. The promise of a life where they are free from all harm, wrapped in the comfort and safety of loving arms. Many are abused, neglected and battered, please give them some time to let them know how much their life mattered. I’ll understand though dear Lord if you must call them home, just please lovingly assure them they are no longer in pain or alone. Now as I lay myself down to sleep, I will pray dear Lord their souls you will keep. ♥ tw, LNPB
