LOCAL BOYCOTT UPDATE: Today our activists delivered a copy of the petition you signed, a copy of the hundreds of signatures on the petition, and an information leaflet on Clon for Gaza. These are some of the businesses to which the petition was delivered. In almost every case we spoke to a member of management. We were very well received and in many cases, the manager expressed solidarity with our cause. On the supermarket front, we felt the most positive reactions came from: Supervalue and Spar. Dunnes and LIDL both said they are powerless to influence where their supplies come from and so we will take it to their customer-service department at national level. Local hotels were receptive. Local restaurants were very positive, An Sugan in particular used the opportunity to explain that they have a long-standing policy of supporting local farmers and suppliers. Not all the businesses visited are depicted here. When we receive written responses from the businesses we will post them here. Thank you so much to all the people who signed the petition. Thank you to our activists on the street. The message is clear: We are organised, we are watching them, and they will -no doubt- bring our message to the next level in all of their organisations. The proof is in the pudding: The only Israeli product we could find is rotting in the package un-bought. And there was a whole stack of sage in the same state. C4G
