LONG POST ALERT: My prograf levels came back late they were low so I was originally on 2mg prograf am & pm then I was on 3mg am every other day then prograf went a tad higher than he wanted soooo Im now doing 3 mg am on MWF amd 2mg TTHSASU well see if that works. Thats literally the only struggle Ive had since receiving my kidney transplant getting the prograf level to be stable since 2mg isnt enough and 3mg is too much lol ahhh the fine line of a balancing act but I consider myself extremely blessed and lucky to just be having prograf levels to deal with. Ive never needed a biopsy never had any hospital stays after transplant. Question for recipients have u strayed from the no eat after transplant food list? Lol Ive seen ppl eating medium rare steaks eating sushi etc. has ur dr cleared u for any of that or not. Ive heard that eating sushi at a well established place is okay occasionally just wanna wheat thoughts on that kinda stuff thanks!!! Oh and Id love to know how long everyones had their kidney and if it was a living donor or deceased as for me it was a deceased donor he was my exact match he was my exact age and mine was 1 yr 3 months ago
