WE ARE LIKE HOARDERS WITH OUR THOUGHTS , MEMORIES AND YES EVEN PAIN . I NEED TO CLEAN OUT . OUR PASTOR HAS BEEN ENCOURAGING A” DANIEL FAST “TO BEGIN ) 01/01/15 TO ENCOURAGE THE CHURCH TO SEEK GOD AND PRAY. WE NEED A MOVE OF GOD . I WAS THINKING OF THIS TODAY AND I REALIZED AFTER I READ THE POST FROM A FRIEND ABOUT HER ENLIGHTMENT OF HER FOUNDATION , I NEED TO DO SOME DEEP CLEANING . IF I DO NOT ,I WILL NOT APPRECIATE WHAT I HAVE OR GET BECAUSE IT WILL BE MIXED WITH THE OLD. This reminded me of the scripture. Matthew 9:17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. HONEST, I AM SLACK HONEST , I COULD HAVE DONE MORE ! HONEST , I WISH I HAD DONE MORE ! THIS IS THREE AREAS That I WANT TO REALLY WORK ON.- I DO NOT WANT TO LOOK AND SEE WHERE I WAS SITTING IDLE . THE BIBLE TELLS US TO THINK ON THE TRUE THINGS PHILLIPIANS 4:8 Psalms 1, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.” The man who meditates on the Law of the Lord is like a tree planted by rivers of water. Alive, thriving, strong and mighty. We need to take our thoughts captive and replace them with the Word of God. We need to condition our minds to respond Godly in adversity rather than dive into self pity, cursing or rage and impatience. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,[ROMANS 12] that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” How do we do this? By Philippians 4:8. Meditate on those things. Meditate on God and His word, His handiwork and majesty. I DO NOT WANT TO LOOK BACK AND SAY I WISH I COULD HAVE DONE MORE. I WANT TO DO ALL THAT YOU WANT ME TO DO LORD. MARK 12:44-Jesus said that she had given more that the rich had because she freely gave all she had ... , Yet she was willing to give it all . I THOUGHT OF THIS AND THIS IS AMAZING – THIS SHOWED HER TRUST IN YOU – SHE KNEW “YOU WERE” AND “YOU WOULD PROVIDE HER NEEDS”. I WANT TO BE LIKE THIS . I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE YOU LORD !!! I WANT MY FAITH TO SOAR LIKE IT HAS NEVER SOARED , I WANT MY PRAISE TO REACH YOU LORD THAT IS MY DESIRE !!! PLEASE HELP ME RID THE STRINGS OF THIS WORLD AND TOTALLY TRUST YOU LORD. [INFINANCES, TOO BUSY TO PRAY ,TOO BUSY TO READ YOUR WORD, TOO BUSY TO HELP MY BROTHER , TOO BUSY TO VISIT THE SICK, TOO BUSY TO VISIT THE JAILS, TOO BUSY TO MINISTER TO THE LOST AND HOMELESS] HELP ME I PRAY , I NEED YOU MORE TODAY THAN YESTERDAY . MY SPIRIT IS WILLING BUT MY FLESH IS WEAK. MATTHEW 26:41 Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
