“LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they - TopicsExpress

“LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.” Psalms 3:1-2 (KJV) Ladies and Gentlemen, in our world today as Christians, I want you to understand that you will often encounter tough seasons. God did not at any time promise you a trouble-free life, what He said is that He will never leave you nor forsake you. So in times of trouble, you are never alone. Psalms 34:19 says “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all”. That is why it is a walk of faith. The bible tells us “the just shall live by faith”. It is a fight of faith, because there are challenges we encounter as we begin to live our lives to please God. There is no way you will live a trouble free life as a Christian, it is always a ‘fight’. A trouble free life is only possible when you die, then you are free from trouble. Trouble is part of the package. Interestingly, whether you are a believer or not, you will have challenges. The issue is what to do when tough seasons comes? What you do determines if you will stand and take advantage of the situation or you will faint and forfeit the blessing that comes with overcoming the trial. God’s word says “all things works together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose”, So when tough seasons come, tell yourself: all things, including this, is at work for my good. You may not understand it, but hold on to that promise and God will come through for you. We often encounter tough times in our business, our job, health, marriage, ministry and finances, the reason is that there is an adversary on the run, his name is the devil, his assignment is to steal, kill and destroy. He intends to wear out the believer and bring him down, so beware. He will want to bring you down, humiliate, hinder, frustrate you and make you turn your back against God but I declare to you that the plan, wishes and intentions of the enemy for your life will not prosper. You will not fulfill the devil’s purpose in Jesus name. The tough season is only a season and it will pass away. God’s plan and purpose will prevail over your life and you will testify of His faithfulness in Jesus name.
