LOVE IN JNU: THREE SCENARIOS ----------------@@------------------------ SCENARIO 1: They are obviously in love & obviously back from the mall, with lots of baggage’s in their hands. As they take a leisurely walk around the ring road, the girl whispers sweet nothings in the guys ears. They smile. Suddenly out of nowhere, a stray dog emerges. Mistaking their colored pouches for food he comes closer. The guy gives a massive kick on his belly, the dog whimpers away. They both smile and walk away. SCENARIO 2 : She declares herself a feminist. Smokes a Davidoff with pride, knows her De Beauvoir. She is in love with a guy (probably in IPS). Whenever he calls her, she moves away from the group. One day she tells me she does so, because he is possessive, & doesnt like her being with other male friends. One day I am with her @a Dhaba,,he calls 2-3 times, she doesn’t receive his call, the next moment a message blinks. She shows it to me, it has a barrage of expletives. She smiles and says Kya karein; I love him yaar... SCENARIO 3 : They both walk hand in hand from library to their hostels. She guides him on the way. He smiles, and holds on to her hand as a toddler holds his mothers. She leaves him at Cauvery hostels gate. And then moves on. Both of them have goggles on their unblinking eyes, & both of them cant see, a thing. Sometimes blindness is not the inability, but the unwillingness to see!
