LTG David Halverson was extremely exhilarated and inspired to see the depth and breadth of the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation efforts on Garrisons for Soldiers and their Families. In his first town hall since taking over as the IMCOM Commanding General, LTG Halverson introduced himself to a mostly civilian audience and set a new mission standard to deliver and integrate base support to enable readiness in a self-reliant globally-responsive all-volunteer Army. Todays town hall was LTG Halversons way of ensuring the workforce understands his intent and gets a chance to know him and his style of management. Our goal is to continue to build trust, not just in words but actions.
