La Zenia is one of several areas within the Orihuela Costa. It has two very popular sandy beaches to relax at, and the biggest shopping mall in the province of Alicante to experience. There are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants dotted around the area to enjoy and it makes up one of the starting/stopping points on the Orihuela Coastal walking route. Places of interest & ideas of things to do in La Zenia Beach: fine sandy beaches either side of the hotel. Shopping Mall: Zenia Boulevard. Coastal Walking Route: very pretty coastal walk south to Cabo Roig and Dehesa de Campoamor or north to Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima. Ideas of places to twin La Zenia with day or night Have a relaxing day in the sun on the beach and an afternoon or evening wandering around the wonderful Zenia Boulevard Shopping Mall which has over 150 shop units and a Mediterráneo Casino. Starting from La Zenia enjoy a walk along the stunning coastal path south to Cabo Roig and Dehesa de Campoamor or north to Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima and back. This walk is full of surprises, with awesome views around every headland, a great combination of exercise and scenery, with ample opportunity to stop for food and drink. La Zenia Beach N37°55.456 W0°43.409 Parking: is on the road and free, it gets very busy during high season, so you might have to park further away and walk or get here early in the morning. From here: walk down to the beach. La Zenia Boulevard Shopping Mall N37⁰55.772 W0⁰44.040 Parking: is in the underground or any of the two open air car parks adjacent to the mall and is free. From here: exit the car park and enter the shopping mall. The shops are open everyday from 10:00-23:00 from July to September and during Easter. Throughout the rest of the year they are open Monday to Saturday 10:00-22:00 and on some Sundays during holiday weeks. La Zenia Coastal Walking Route N37°55.623 W0°43.308 Parking: is on the road and free, it gets very busy during high season, so you might have to park further away and walk or get here early in the morning. From here: to walk north towards Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima join the path with the sea to your right, to walk south towards Cabo Roig and Dehesa de Campoamor follow the pavement past the hotel and keep the beach and sea on your left. Top tip: go with friends and two cars, leave one car where you want to finish and one at the start choose from Dehesa de Campoamor, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima!!
