Labour Party Leader 2014 A HORIZONTAL LINE IS APPLIED David - TopicsExpress

Labour Party Leader 2014 A HORIZONTAL LINE IS APPLIED David Parker and Nanaia Mahuta are in no-wise in a lesser position by being mentioned separately from the other two. Both these candidates represent powerful groupings within the Labour Party and require separate mention in order to avoid clustering all four into a sequence that has someone in last place and another person second-to-last place. This twin model oppositely allows for a more equal playing field similar to having four pools in the 2015 rugby world cup. Such is necessary when having four high-quality candidates in any important leadership contest with nothing to lose and everything to gain; an excellent attitude-outlook in any race. POWERFUL MAORI-FEMALE IDENTITY Nanaia Mahuta is the dark horse and personally represents the powerful Maori factions both within and outside of the Labour Party spectrum. She has serious numbers behind her and unlike the other candidates, is a female by gender and it is this aspect of this candidate that shines ominously for her fellow contestants. A solid record of party service and an unquestionable party loyalty makes Nanaia a serious contender of thundering down the outside of the pack once on the home straight. Her Te-reo if flawless and her whakapapa to Kingitanga and household name in Maoirdom makes her, for me, the most interesting candidate to watch by far as these factors combine into a realistic potential to win the race indeed. THE OUTSIDE BOLTER OF THE RACE David Parker is the sleek greyhound ready to bolt down the other side of track and his performance to date as caretaker leader leaves none of his fellow candidates in any doubt that David can appear anytime breathing down the front runners neck. It is interesting how sturdy-tougher he has become and is refreshingly open about overcoming terrible tribulation to be one of the counted. Parker is no easy beat. He is popular on both sides of the political divide because of his trustworthiness and is equally well-known for his stabilizing influence in general. But this candidates strength is in his monetary-financial knowledge which is where elections are won or lost. A constant thorn for the front runner no doubt. STEADY AS THE WAKA GOES So far so good for the Labour Party. The membership may consider themselves well-and-truly out of the dark-pool of a few weeks ago with a selection of top-line candidates. This in itself is the uniting aspect as it gets everyone focused on the candidates and their individual visions if elected new party leader. Indeed, now that there is certainty there is movement which precedes motion that results in momentum that indicates the sure signs of life. A welcome relief to the Labour Party voters Im sure. THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD VIEWING So what now? this is up to the candidates but what if I was a candidate Id be busting my moves from tomorrow morning onwards. It all depends how hungry they are and their understanding that there is nothing to lose so just go for it and start. This is called Initiative. Its something that should be viewed as essential and something to be expected by the yet-unknown new leader somewhere in this pack of four very closely positioned candidates. Exciting stuff :-)
