Lack of training, lack of preparation and too many out of shape cops led to this young mans death. The man was not violent. Why rush a confrontation. The young man was talking....so keep talking. LAPD got in trouble years ago for the choke hold. It was national news. Why didnt we learn anything? Not that it will bring this young man back. But 2 things need to happen. 1) a fair and impartial investigation of what these officers did to cause the death of this young man, including appropriate corrective action and 2) we the people need to be educated in how to properly deal with the police in the street to avoid such situations.
