Ladies and gentlemen, it is my greatest privilege to announce the victors of the summer season grand final was THE MIGHTY SNAP BACK KINGS! The turning point of the victory came swiftly as the second half started, down by 3 the Kings looked like they were in for a tight game coming into the second half. Firing strong, and leading the scoring for this evening was none other than Mr. Downtown himself Shaun Penny, opening a can of whoop ass from the first instance, draining a filthy 3 at the start of the game. Trash talking and a dirty leveling out, didnt shake the Kings top scorer this evening, holding strong for the duration of the game. The handsome Mr. Reliable Brad Walker, was a crucial part in tonights victory creating scoring opportunities from even the toughest of instances, never backing down, regardless of the oppositions superior size. A true fighter! The mighty and fearsome Pray mantis Mitch Stanes, was not just the backbone in the defense this evening, with his unbeatable rebounding and spider-man like reflexes, but prowling viciously offensively using his amazing flying capabilities to ensure the victory. The one the only... Mrrrrrrrrr. Prime time Luke Stahl was in high forms this evening amazing the audience with feats of super human jumping abilities (i expect nothing less from the number 14th in Australia in high jump.. but still). It saddens me to announce the departure of Mr. Prime time from the team, you will be surely missed and forever welcome at the Kings. Last but not least, The real deal, MVP, Mr. Big bad Matthew Bailey. Playing hard in both offense and defense, proved to be exactly what the doctor ordered. Carrying slight injuries, this did not stop the man, powering through to seal the deal! Fellas, a note from me... It has been an absolute pleasure playing along side with you gentlemen. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and giving me the opportunity to play. I Thoroughly enjoyed the strong willed spirit of the team, and competitiveness through out the season. I look forward to playing along side you to another finals victory.
