Lady Tigers reach finals, Channell takes Tennessee title Jan. 24- Lady Tiger Ashley Channell got day two of the TSSSAA bowling tournament in Smyrna off to a good start by sweeping her three matches to claim the Tennessee Girls Individual State Title. The HCHS girls then rolled over Chuckey-Doak 20-7 in team quarterfinal action before the Tigers saw their fine season come to an end with a tight 16-11 quarterfinal loss to Sevier County. The Lady Tigers grabbed an exciting 19-8 victory over the home team Wilson Central girls to claim yet another spot in the State Finals vs Columbia Central Saturday morning at 8:30.
