Lana is a beautiful athletic quarter horse mare. 7 years old, 15HH, easy keeper. Needs experienced rider. Asking $2200. Will trade for a good kids horse. She has been used mostly for trail rides, gymkhana and a couple cowboy challenges and is ready to be taken in any direction. She shows promise as a barrel horse. She has good ground manners, is excellent with her feet and loads easily. She does tend to get herd bound, but an experienced rider can work her out of it relatively quickly, and then she can be ridden by less experienced riders. She is gentle and sweet but can have a strong mind when she wants to. She does tend to shy away from working directly with cattle, but might be worked out of it, given time. Would make an excellent project horse for a higher level 4H. Located near Black Diamond, Ab.
