Last Friday I participated in the first part of a Leaders Class that included a few elected officials, lawyers and business folks from the area. As I looked around the room I realized that only two of us had facial hair (my salt and pepper is on full Chia right now). It reminded me that when I was running for the Supreme Court last year, my team got word from a National campaign that I should cut my beard so I wouldnt offend voters. As I look around the County (and the State), I cant think of any other elected officials rocking a beard. When I became a judge, I grew it to look older..and now as I approach 42 this weekend....do I shave it off for good?...or do I keep it? What to do....what to do.....
