Last Monday there was the rain from hell. Late on Tuesday, Mike went in the cellar and splashed! The sump pump was overwhelmed. Called the insurance company on Wednesday. We were leaving for Las Vegas on Thursday very early. Problem was, if we did not have people in to work, our claim was void. The "restorers" came while we were away. Came home to a garage full of cellar stuff, no carpet, no paneling, and cellar full of mold. To make our homecoming complete, the power had been out for over 6 hours. So glad I went on vacation!
