Last Night ,My Son Gets Out Of The Shower And Goes Straight To My Room, I Hear The Drawers being Russled Through And Pretty Much Torn Apart...I Walk into My Room Prepared To Fuss At Mekhi for Creating A mess ... Right Before I Open my Mouth- I See Him pull One Of His Dads favorite Shirts From one Of our Drawers- He Slips It Over His Head And Proudly walks To His bed .. I Couldnt Stop Crying... My Husband Is Not My Sons biological Father. And it took me releasing every ounce of fear to allow my boyfriend (at that time)to step in and embrace what was the most important piece of me (my child) But Man oh Man, I Thank God I did! my Husband Is My sons super hero! A man to relate to and call his own, A Space that would have otherwise been left empty- You have filled completely Milton White...I cant appreciate you enough, I cant thank you or love you enough for what this means to me. I love what God has allowed you two to have, inspite of Me. THANK YOU for being amazing. # I am so glad I let go of the familiar chaos my life knew so well, and allowed something unfamiliar to remind me that I was ALWAYS worthy of being completely happy. Sometimes we are our worst enemy.
