Last Sunday I went to church in a puzzled state of mind as I was supposed to take a decision. The situation was kept in prayers - both family prayers and morning prayer cell. There were many suggestions from parents, friends and near ones but we wanted to be sure that our heart desires dont come in the way of Gods plans. But how to know what is Gods will and plan is the confusion we had. God works in many ways and reveals His answers in his unique perfect ways. Posting the summary of the Sermon last Sunday from our pastor. That answered the questions I had and helped me go in peace. Hope this helps many of us. TESTING THE VOICES, HEARING GOD? 1. Does it agree with the Bible? 2. Does it bring me closer to Christ/make me more like Christ? 3. Do fellow believers confirm it? 4. Does it align me with Gods purpose for my life? 5. Is it convicting or condemning? 6. Do I sense Gods peace? Thank God Almighty for planting this thought in Pastors mind for the Sermon.
