In the film, you will meet the Guatemalan Mayan community who are seeking justice in Canadian courts for alleged abuses committed by a Canadian mining company: abuses that include murder, rape, and forced evictions. The screening begins at 8 PM. It will be followed up by a panel discussion with filmmaker Rachel Schmidt, activist Tantoo Cardinal, Rachel Warden from KAIROS & Cory Wanless from Klippensteins Barristers and Solicitors.
