Last evening the Project completed its mission to return to our school district the $13 credited to our 2013 property taxes by the legislature. Together, we represented nearly 400 donors and around $6,000. It is amazing what a small group of dedicated citizens can do when we join forces, link arms, and share the load of responsibility to our community. If anyone hears someone say they wish they had joined in, tell them its never too late. Anyone can send their checks to the district at any time. A notation for Project $13 would be helpful so the staff recognizes the purpose of the check. Thank you all for your participation and support. Watch this space for future information about forums and community events relating to how we can improve the funding for our schools. We can do better. We, after all, are Wisconsin!
