Last fall, soon after I found out that Percy cat had incurable cancer, I was very emotional. I was at Bi-Mart one day & saw a large (dog) pet bed that I loved at first sight. Heck, I wanted to curl up on it, never mind Percy! lol Anyway, I bought it for Percy because I had this overwhelming desire to indulge him in every way possible. Of course it was too puffy for Percy cat to even consider using it, even when I sprinkled it liberally with catnip. I should have just returned it, but I loved the darn thing, & so I just never got around to doing that.... Fast forward to yesterday, when I talked to Becca on the phone regarding Benny. :-D She took Benny to the vet & got him groomed yesterday. It suddenly dawned on me that we still had this very large pet bed. Benny didnt have a dog bed yet. So I vacuumed the catnip off it & took the bed, along with a brand new pack of heavy duty tennis balls (Mom gave them to me when their Mac dog died) & I drove over to their house last night. The dog bed is PERFECT for Benny---he loves it! Somebody knew Benny was going to be part of the family months ago when I impulsively bought that bed. It warms my heart to give it to Benny---along with the tennis balls that were meant for my parents beloved dog Mac before he passed. Welcome to the family, Benny! :-D As you can see, Benny is VERY clear that this bed is HIS. lol
