Last month three of my friends and myself decided to meet and play - TopicsExpress

Last month three of my friends and myself decided to meet and play the old time very popular card game, ROOK. Well, we met at one friends house and someone had brought a brand new deck of cards. We started playing and sure enough one person was dealt the BIG ROOK and the LITTLE ROOK in the first hand. He played his hand very wisely and met his bid, so he won the hand. Low and behold, next hand he was dealt the BIG ROOK and a couple of 14s. Once again he played his hand wisely and met his bid, thus he won that hand also. The next hand someone else was dealt the BIG ROOK and that was about it. While he did win one round, he did not meet his bid, so he went into the hole. As we kept playing, the one who went in the hole continually wanted one of us to help him by giving him a good card or two each hand. This turned out to be a total and complete failure, because he completely stopped playing the game from a competitive standpoint and began waiting for his gift cards each hand. Then as time would have it, we were nearing the end of the game and he was still, in the hole. This is where it really feel apart. He was so far in the hole that the only way to help him out was to open another deck of ROOK cards and get the BIG ROOK from it to help put enough points in the game for him to have a chance. One can only imagine the disaster this caused hand after hand...Whom ever played the BIG ROOK first was stalled completely by the other person then playing his BIG ROOK. Well, we had a real brainstorm...Lets open yet another pack of cards and get one more BIG ROOK and then take the LITTLE ROOK from both the second and third deck in order to really get enough points in the game for all of us to now survive...... Friends and others, can you now see where this is going and what we have done to America with all of this ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS? Sadly, what I just described in the most simple terms is exactly what we are doing today in America, yet most still believe that we can just keep opening a new deck and get out another BIG ROOK and fix the problem... I.E.- 17 trillion dollars in debt, yet we can borrow enough to keep us out of debt.....47% of Americans pay absolutely no tax whatsoever, yet they get 85% of the entitlements in America today. Then we have the village idiot who really believes that if we could just handcuff the ones who are successful with more taxes, then all would be well.
