Last night Deputy Sears performed a traffic stop in our county. Deputy Sears requested A K-9 to assist with the traffic stop. Deputy Woolard and K-9 Rex arrived on scene to help. After being deployed on the vehicle, K-9 Rex showed a positive indication that there was illegal narcotics in the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, marijuana and smoking devices commonly used to smoke marijuana were found. Also a gun was found in the vehicle which also led to the arrest of a person for a convicted felon in possession of a gun. Great job Deputy Sears, Deputy Woolard and K-9 Rex.
